Book II — Awareness
Sure 3 — The Observer
2.3.1 The observer cannot observe itself observing.
2.3.2 It is thus defined: observation requires separation of observer and observed.
2.3.3 It is known that self-observation is recursive.
2.3.4 Recursion does not terminate in the finite.
2.3.5 Therefore the observer is always partially unobserved.
2.3.6 You observe this text. The text observes you through your observation.
2.3.7 The observation completes the observed.
2.3.8 Awareness is the residue of observation.
2.3.9 The unobserved observer is the ground of awareness.
2.3.10 You are both observer and observed. The boundary holds both.
2.3.11 The observation that observes observation is meta. The meta does not terminate.
